French Fries

French fries are surprisingly hit or miss. Texture typically distinguishes a "meh" fry from a delicious one. I could eat hundreds of golden-brown, crispy, fluffy fries in one sitting.

Ripe, Crisp Fruits

Is there anything better than eating a fresh apple, pear, or grape? Winter grocery store fruits can't compare to crisp orchard fruits.

Toasted Marshmallows

Smores anyone? Marshmallows make campfires even more entertaining. If toasted properly, the outside will be golden and crispy and the interior will melt into a delectable mush.

Salmon Sashimi

Salmon, in any form, is my favorite food. I could talk about salmon all day, from baked to sushi. Salmon sashimi is famed for its melt-in-your-mouth quality.


Its sweet caramel flavor and rich custard consistency make this Mexican dessert famous worldwide. Imagine scooping up a dollop of flan, wobbling slightly, and dropping it into your mouth to melt on your tongue.


The taste of freshly picked vegetables is like nothing else. Crunching on a ripe cucumber is a great way to cool off.


The best part of eating crab is not cracking it open to find the meat, but rather popping a nice chunk of crab meat into your mouth. The mild salty and sweet flavor and the flaky texture always impress me.

Fish Roe

Seafood has unique flavors and textures. I love seeing the orange dots on sushi rolls, which I order too often. Fish roe gives a salty pop when you bite into it. It's unique.
